I have had this product for about 3 weeks now. Overall I like it ok; it serves its purpose. However, there are pros and cons. Pros: 1) versatility as it converts from dumbells to barbell, 2) compact storage/saves space. Cons: 1) One really annoying issue i'm having (probably as a function of its versatility), is that the screws become quite loose after just two or three reps of a movement. Therefore, it's a hazard if I ignore it, and it's disruptive to my workout when I have to stop and tighten. 2) The storage case is a little flimsy- mine came with a broken latch.
Caveat emptor: It was a significant $$ investment for what's turning out to be one step above a toy.

HOWEVER, IF YOU SCREW THE ENDS BACK ON THE TO FAST THEY DAMAGE THE PLASTIC ON THE INSIDE THAT IT SCREWS BACK ON TO WHILE TURNING TO CLOSE IT. IT APPEARS THAT THIS MAY WEAR OUT VERY QUICKLY IF YOU'RE ADJUSTING THE WEIGHTS CONSTANTLY OPENING AND CLOSING IT. I LIKE THE PRODUCT BECAUSE I CAN'T LIFT OVER 5LBS AS OF YET AND I USE THEM FOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY FOR MY HANDS AND ARMS.
