There is no noise when the pole is spinning. All in all we are very happy with this pole. And it’s able to be moved! The instruction is clear so you can follow it one sep by step. It only took us about 15 mis to make it done. You may need to measure it out if you want it to be easier to assemble. The top pole part has a part in it that adjust with height of your ceiling. so you don't need to worry about the height, the quality is also good, I didn't feel any illsafe when I'm on it. Good!
